We’ve got an …
We’ve got an automatic mode that was used to make this part. Turns out that it’s easier to set it to run 50 passes at a low depth and get a cup of coffee than to vary the cut depth. Using a small advance is also very important for the first few passes on the ball- exponentially less important as you move on.

Wow, all those cuts …
Wow, all those cuts! Can’t imagine the state of the lathe bed in about a years time! I think that a review on the depth of cut is called for. If you have build a Quorn, you might as well go nuts right off the bat. Other than taht, very impressive result, yes Sir! Liked the QCTP too!
