Because brass sounds very different than Stainless.

lol he totally knows what hes doing… look at the ipm hes taking ( thousands per rev) at that rpm with out any coolant…. the rapid programming… pretty sweet if you ask me

Hehe. Depends what you aims for. I made this one with new leadscrews, bearings, bearingsblocks etc., spindle controled by gcode, full enclosure and flood cooling and much more. BTW i sold it and is making ready to build a new one from ground up. More videos to come…
