This creates a stall or hesitation in the saw blade’s movement known as "binding." Slightly shifting the blade and material is usually sufficient to remove the obstruction. However, when the binding is severe the saw blade may sometimes need to be lifted entirely away from the material.
There are several different blades that can be interchanged on a circular saw machine so that the capabilities of the saw are expanded. With one of these machines a carpenter, woodworker, or homeowner can cut and shape metal, plastic, wood and even cut through some types of masonry. It is important that they right saw blade be matched to the type of material that is to be cut.
