High Speed Milling is a technique employed in the CNC Milling Industry that mixes high shaft speeds with increased feed rates. This leads directly to a high chip-forming rate and lower milling forces, making a better surface quality and closer tolerations. In high speed milling, it is the electronics can make all the difference. The right CNC joined together with other parts of the control system can let a slower machine mill a specified form quicker than a machine with a higher top feed rate.
